Life Transitions
When life changes and you are changing with it.
A transition can be wanted and still be hard. Career changes, relationships, parenting, loss, relocation, and identity shifts can disrupt the story you thought you were living.
There is usually more underneath the symptom.
Transitions can bring grief, uncertainty, anxiety, excitement, and questions about who you are now. Therapy can provide space to make meaning of the change without rushing to turn it into a lesson.
You do not have to arrive with the perfect explanation or diagnosis. We can start with what you are noticing now and make sense of the pattern together.
Understanding first. Change at a pace that fits.
We can clarify what matters now, understand what the transition is bringing up, and build choices that fit the person you are becoming—not simply the person you were expected to be.
My approach may draw from EMDR, parts/ego-state work, nervous-system regulation, ACT, CBT, and other evidence-informed strategies depending on what fits you.
