Relationship Patterns
When the same patterns keep showing up.
Relationships can bring out protective patterns that are difficult to see while you are inside them.
There is usually more underneath the symptom.
Attachment patterns, boundaries, communication, conflict, people-pleasing, withdrawal, and fear of abandonment can all shape how we connect. Understanding the pattern is the beginning—not the end—of changing it.
You do not have to arrive with the perfect explanation or diagnosis. We can start with what you are noticing now and make sense of the pattern together.
Understanding first. Change at a pace that fits.
We can slow down the moments when the pattern activates, notice what your mind and body are trying to protect, and practice responses that create more choice and connection.
My approach may draw from EMDR, parts/ego-state work, nervous-system regulation, ACT, CBT, and other evidence-informed strategies depending on what fits you.
