EMDR Therapy
When you understand what happened but still feel it.
EMDR can help when past experiences continue to shape your emotions, beliefs, body responses, or relationships—even when you know intellectually that the past is over.
There is usually more underneath the symptom.
EMDR is more than revisiting a memory. It is a structured approach that helps the brain and nervous system process experiences that may still feel unfinished.
You do not have to arrive with the perfect explanation or diagnosis. We can start with what you are noticing now, understand what your mind and body may be carrying, and make sense of the pattern together.
Understanding first. Change at a pace that fits.
I use a phased, trauma-informed approach. We build readiness and resources first, then move into processing when you have enough stability to do the work safely and effectively.
My approach may draw from EMDR, parts/ego-state work, nervous-system regulation, ACT, CBT, and other evidence-informed strategies depending on what fits you. The aim is healing, relief, and greater freedom in how you live.
